It was held at Max Yasgur's dairy farm in the Catskills      near the hamlet of White Lake in the town of Bethel.    </p>   <p itemprop="location" itemscope itemtype="schema.org/Place">     <a itemprop="url" href="http://www.allplaces.us/z/12720">       <span itemprop="name">Bethel</span>     </a>, in Sullivan County, is 43 miles southwest of the town of Woodstock, New York, in adjoining Ulster County.   </p>   <p>      <meta itemprop="startDate" content="1969-08-15"/>     <meta itemprop="endDate" content="1969-08-18"/>     The event took place from August 15 to August 18, 1969.   </p>   <p>     Between the performing artists were:      <span itemprop="performer" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Person">       <span itemprop="name">Joe Cocker</span>     </span>,      <span itemprop="performer" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Person">       <span itemprop="name">Jimi Hendrix</span>     </span>,     <span itemprop="performer" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Person">       <span itemprop="name">Joan Baez </span>     </span>.   </p> </div>
